After finishing The Roses of the Desert late last year I started to ponder what the new theme would be. since I can't seem to leave "the human" aspect aside, I decided to work with "Trees" as a metaphor to the human being. Trees stand in the middle of life, and the spirit of many things lie in them. They are busy all day giving shade, support, shelter and food to all. Only as night falls they find rest and under the quiet dark skies the spirits that live in them are revealed. These trees all have the exact location where they stand carved onto the piece.
