In this series I use photography as the primary medium combined with found objects, and encaustic. The encaustic wax medium allows me to work in layers encasing fragments of memory as a means of stopping images and words in time. Of great importance to me is the “female” and discovering the similar dualities found in the female entity and in the desert planes.
