Our heart is vast, considered the largest vault in the world. We open and close it without a consistent pattern. Periods of bliss can be followed by intense moments of pain. It helps us see the worlds that our eyes can’t see. We cling to it as we cling to life.
Yet we are cautious.
Always there remain portions of our heart
into which no one is able to enter,
invite them as we may.
